Newly redesigned, the Polar Trex™ Boots deliver winter paw protection and traction for dogs navigating snow, ice, cold conditions, or snowmelt chemicals. The waterproof and windproof softshell upper keeps paws dry and warm, while a stretch pullover gaiter prevents snow from building up on the hook-and-loop closure for improved boot retention. Winter-specific outsole with glass fibre lugs positioned directly under the dog's paw provide confident traction on ice and snow with a micro-cleat effect. A hook-and-loop closure makes it easy to put on and cinch down the boots, and reflective trim enhances visibility in low-light conditions.
Glass-fibre winter lugs are key to confident traction on ice, snow, and in cold conditions. This specialised outsole incorporates vertical glass fibre inserts which function similarly to the natural textures found within a dog's own paw anatomy, aiding in superior grip on slick surfaces. Because of this, we recommend keeping these for outdoor use only.
These come in a set of TWO boots. Many dogs have wider front paws than rear paws. We offer our boots in sets of two so you can order the appropriate sizes for a good fit on both the front and rear paws. Just as you would with your gear, adjust fit and check tension of boot straps 15 minutes into your activity and throughout the adventure as needed.
